#flatclassroom: A Skype Session with an International School in Australia

Skype session with Ms. Mcgrath’s class

This morning, my class had a skype session with Ms. Mcgrath’s class in one of  international schools in Australia. The time difference was not a problem since Australia is 4 hours ahead than Indonesia. We had it at 10 am Indonesian time and it was 2 pm in Australia.

We could meet up and see each other through web camera and both of our students were so excited! There was trouble in the microphone, though but we continued chatting. We talked about our backgrounds, religions and celebrations as we are learning the same thing in our schools.

We plan to do another more sessions and look forward to having another more with other schools from other parts of the world.

  2. Simple, but very effective learning and connecting! Now the next step is to collaboratively work on a project together (via google docs or a wiki etc)
